A little about me and Astro Kabbalah

About me

My name is Rivka. I was born in Israel to an ultra Orthodox Jewish family. My father, who was born in Ukraine , during the times of the pogroms there - when many jews got killed on a regular basis was a physics scholar, a civil engineer, and a judica painter. But before anything else, he was a Kabbalist for most of his life. My mom who barely survived the Holocaust arrived with her mom to Israel after the world war was over. She was born in Poland - was a school teacher and even though most of her family got killed by Hitler as most of her neighbors and friends there - she managed to survive and to establish and rebuild her new own family in Israel.

Many years ago, I prepared my year 12 students in Jerusalem for their final exams in Jewish History and Political Science. At the time, it was the only gifted high school in the country and often the students there would challenge me with questions that I myself would often wonder about. Such as why bad things happen and why history continues to repeat itself, etc. I would discuss the historical facts of what happened and when it happened with my class, they would often analyze the historical facts in brilliant and impressive ways but I never had any answers for their philosophical questions of "why" those things happened in human history, and why they keep repeating again and again .

As a daughter of a Holocaust survivor, whose majority of family was killed by Hitler, I was always very sensitive to that question. Why do conflicts, wars and murders happen and wondered what relationship - if at all - my personal destiny had to do with it.

I got my answer years later when I began to work in commercial real estate. I would often travel the world on my father’s behalf, who was a city civil engineer and could not travel himself. I would often travel to Europe with my father’s attorney. He was an Orthodox Jewish attorney who aside from being a real estate developer, was also a Kabbalist - and happened to be the most famous astrologer in my country.

At first, I treated his predictions about our investor’s potential success - (if we should do a project with them - or not) - as a joke, a kind of entertainment. I was amused and wondered how such a serious, highly intelligent person believed in such “nonsense” Yet, to my astonishment, everything he predicted throughout the years we worked together came true.

These predictions were based only on the person’s original name, place, date and time of birth.

At that point, I decided to study it myself. After several years of rigorous study, I came to the inevitable conclusion that there is fate and that there is not even one coincidence in our lives!

I’m currently a law student and a mother of two. I live with my husband and family in the USA.

About Kabbalah & Astrology

Each one of us has a different path, a unique plan and an underlying purpose that reveals itself through all the events in our life that are unfolding in their specific predestined timing.

It was astonishing for me to see throughout the years how, and what someone’s chart indicated in their reading. That it really manifests later in their real life - at the exact time as their chart indicated and in a very natural way - not by any “miracle”.

I then had no choice but to let go of my analytical, skeptical mind. After seeing thousands of charts along the years I had to conclude that we are more than just a physical body who has a mind - but that we have a soul that has its inner unique life journey and not only for itself but also for the good of all . I didn’t understand it in theory, I saw it in people’s charts with my own eyes.

As a result of my new realization, the process of integrating both Kabbalah and Astrology gradually started to take place, and the strong correlation between the two finally became very obvious to me.

While astrology reveals the nature of the events that will take place in ones chart and in what time frame to expect them, Kabbalah explains why it happens to one person but not to another. It also explains what will be the best way to approach it, in order to take it to the highest level possible for that person’s capacity; so that their soul will be able to grow as a result of the good or bad that they will encounter in their life - instead of arrogancy or self indulging or even worse - bein busy in self accusation and/or shame, self destruction or lack of life direction and meaning.

Kabbalah doesn’t stand by itself! A human being comes to the end of himself - no matter what knowledge he gains and how sophisticated mental techniques he would exercise for his own good or even for the good of others. In the end it all goes back to our creator.

It is God who teaches us how to use and “fix” a particular issue that surfaces for a reason at a certain time frame in our life - and one of his tools is through kabbalah - by using the energy of that event in a way that will lead us to our next higher level, instead of being crushed by our egos or by feeling threatened - where often the human’s tendency is to use protective - often manipulative tactics which eventually hurt oneself as well - not only others!

Our ego helps our journey to a certain degree by motivating us. However, without letting God into the picture to guide us through the tools that he created for our deeper understanding - we start to let Luzifer (Satan) in. In each chart Luzifer is located in a different house and subject . we lose then our self orientation throughout the years and will go in stagnant circles with no end.

It is as with the example of the red and black ants in a jar who live peacefully next to each other till someone from outside the jar is shaking the jar and then each group start to fight the other - the red against the black and the black fights the red since they all are sure that the other group shaked the jar in order to hurt them without understanding that there are higher forces who they can’t perceive with their limited physical sight who do it - as unseen spiritual forces - beyond our physical capacity to see them - navigate our lives as well - and if we want God to lead us - not Lucifer - who “keep shaking the jar” and working non stop to separate us from each other while laughing at us all.. - we need to look up to God guidance alone!

We will benefit from daring on taking a different outlook on life. Often as a contrast to how psychology or society as a whole will define function, success, or even sanity. Every soul is precious and every soul has endless wisdom and an inner choice of how to approach its calling. This comes to fruition through all of a person’s life events, including the so called "bad" and "good" ones. They all contribute to our soul’s primary purpose and to the bigger picture of God's plan for us.

Kabbalah doesn’t use any formulas or high superlatives to measure what we consider as “failure” or “success”, “stupidity” or “cleverness”, etc., but instead tells us that everyone is here for a different role and reason. For more developed souls it’s one that is never for them alone, but rather for a reasons that often involve sacrifice of their earthly image, facade, ego and even unfortunate life circumstances - all for a higher purpose and for the good of all. This soul’s sacrifice of the ego always takes place where one’s Lilith is located in their chart - (Lilith is a Kabbalistic “planet” in everyones chart) - since it is located in different house and issue for different people.

Love, acceptance, and compassion toward ourselves and towards our fellow humans is the only remedy and healing for our souls and for our world. Lessons that we learn through our own life events enables us to eventually reach a desirable stage of consciousness. Different lessons at different times for different people, which will expand the wisdom of our souls and its capacity for unconditional love and inner spiritual strength before we return to our real home - to God - our heavenly father.
